RADAR Tikhomirov IRBIS-E N-35 for Su-30MK2, Su-30SM2 and Su-35

Radar Tikhomirov IRBIS-E for Su-35 / Su-30MK2 / Su-30SM2.

This model can be considered as universal for all manufacturers, as the panel should be able to adapt to slight variations of Su-35 / Su-30 fuselage diameters in 1/32 scale.

This radar, known by its name sequenced by model of aircraft N035 ( adapted for Sukhoi 35 ) is today, 2023, one of the best hunting radars in the world being at the level of F-22.

Developed by the JSC V.V. Tikhomirov Scientific Research Institute of Instrument Design, it is a PESA radar (passive electronic scanning array) capable of tracking 30 simultaneous targets and engaging 8 of them at same time.

It also equalizes the doppler effect in its synthetic aperture function with a ground resolution of less than 1 meter. Allowing to identify and track up to 4 land targets simultaneously even on movement.

It is the third radar research period for the entire Sukhoi 27 family and later versions.

Pieces

The radar is delivered disassembled into several unpainted parts to allow paint them with comfort.

Does not include the model kit of the Sukhoi plane.

Assembly

It comes ready to insert the front panel of the fuselage into the hole of the fighter model. In case of divergence of diameter, you can sand the border or fill the space with putty.
 

Scratch

This kit has included more than 30 small cables that have been able to be printed efficiently. Only a few cables have not been included in the design to let the modeler add them on their own to increase the sensation of realism.
